Vonjo R. Tommy is a registered nurse with decades of experience in Healthcare Management, Home Care Accreditation, Clinical and Case Management Assessment, Occupational Health Management, Business Development as well as Emergency Room nursing services. He has worked as a Care Coordinator/Manager, where he provided a leadership role in developing and coordinating patient services, connecting patients to relevant community resources, evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ conditions, managing relationships with tertiary care providers, and administering transitions-in-care services and referrals. He also has extensive experience in providing a therapeutic milieu.
Vonjo has worked extensively in the New York healthcare system, where his service and commitment to patient care were critical at the peak of the COVID-19 Pandemic. His commitment to patient care and affinity to providing care led him to Christina Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware, where he worked as a Covid-19 Temporary Registered Nurse and administered tens of thousands of COVID-19 vaccinations. His leadership insight led him to help draft and drive policies and procedures to ensure a high ethical standard that helped align care providers with the vision and values of the institutions he worked for. As a Registered Nurse, he brings a strong knowledge of administering patient treatment plans; he possesses a strong background in documenting and charting patients’ data with a focus on promoting a healthy and compassionate environment to enhance the quality of care for patients.
